Dental Implants are a surgical procedure performed by our Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Dr. Smiler, and patients may feel slight discomfort after the procedure. However, with Dr. Smiler’s experience, and the advances in surgical and implant technology, most implant patients report little to no pain and return to normal routines within days. In some cases, our patients are able to return to work the same day.
In most cases post operative relief of pain or discomfort can be accomplished with over-the-counter pain medication and anti-inflammatory medication.
Dr. Smiler, who is internationally known as an expert in Implant Dentistry, uses only the most advanced procedures and materials, and because of his extensive hands-on experience, skill set, and knowledge, can actually minimize the risk of pain even more.
